“ My favourite pizza place. The pizza is such good quality you only need a margarita. One of those places where toppings can actually ruin the quality of the pizza. It's proper Neapolitan-style pizza and the sauce is bursting with flavour. What makes me prefer this over similar pizzas is the crust at Bertha's is so soft and delicious that no other place can match it; I would recommend their garlic dip to have with the crusts. ”
“ Picked up an order from the Too Good To Go app and it turned out to be a butternut squash base pizza with Nduja and cheese. It was absolutely delicious. It was great because I'd never order something like that usually but ended up being absolutely delicious. The dough was perfectly cooked, butternut base was a really nice change and complemented the sausage and cheese perfectly. Guy serving me was nice, got my pizza quickly. Just based from this pick up I'd say this is a really good spot - I 100% recommend the pizza I got and I'm sure the rest of their menu is also great. 10 out of 10, will be returning soon. ”
“ I had the Umami Bomb pizza (mozzarella, smoked potato, black garlic vinaigrette, miso mayo) and it was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten. The flavours were awesome and the crusts dunked in some aioli or chilli jam were banging as well. My toddler had a margherita which he told me was very good, which is high praise from a 3.5 year old! Fantastic service and very child friendly, will definitely be going back again. Oh and also had the 0% rhubarb gin ton which was great. ”
“ I popped in just for a quick bite on my way through Bristol, and am very happy with my decision! The marmite and cheese bread was delicious, and I enjoyed some tasty malteser ice cream to take away as well. I recommend this place. ”
“ The most incredible pizza I’ve tried in the UK! I used to be a frequent visitor to Bertha’s Pizza while studying in Bristol, and to this day I won’t miss an opportunity to go there when I visit! Their dough is the most incredible - very thin in a base, accentuating the flavour of the filling, while the edges are light and have a nice chewy bite! They also have the most inventive flavours - if you ever see Zucca on a menu (pizza with a butternut squash base) - give it a shot! It’s an explosion of flavour :) And of course the staff are always very friendly welcome you with a smile! ”
